What is Geocaching Colorado?

This organization has been established to promote positive relations with land managers in Colorado, and increase communication in the geocaching community. We strive to educate about geocaching principles, maintain an open and welcoming community, serve as a forum for responsible stewardship of our lands, liaison with land agents to ensure access for geocaching, and promote geocaching as an enjoyable outdoor family oriented pursuit. What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
